I just came from reading a friend's blog, and found that her posting made me smile, so I thought to share (she in turn got this from her sister's blog):
Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot,
who calls you back when you hang up on him,
who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.
Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead,
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats,
who holds your hand in front of his friends.
Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of
how much he cares about you and
how lucky he is to have you.
Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says,
If you open this you have to repost it.
If you have a lot of love for someone, copy and send this to your whole list.
In 5 minutes your true love will call or message you.
You have just been WISHED.
Tonight at midnight your true love will realize they like you.
Something good will happen to you at approx. 1:55pm tomorrow, it could be anywhere.
So get ready for the biggest shock of your life.
Send this to 15 people in 15 minutes to carry on the chain.

No, I didn't feel compelled just so that my "true love" would reveal himself to me... that's already happened. I just wanted to post it here, because I thought it was beautiful.
I wish this for my single friends... I wish that they find their own true love, the one who complements them (not one who completes them: I'd like to think everyone should be complete individuals first before embarking on a relationship... besides, if this person who completes you leaves you, does that then leave you half a person?), the one who they can truly call a "soulmate". That's difficult to find, and at times even more difficult to discern.
To my coupled friends who are so blessed to have found their loves and are better for it, thank God you have. Care for them... love them... cherish and appreciate them. A true and deep love is rare and hard to come by.
That's it. Happy New Year!
