Jetlag

It's 3:41 am here in Los Angeles... I did get to bed at a relatively decent hour, but alas, my body isn't allowing me rest.  I am starting to feel a little sleepy, but thought to write a little bit before turning in.

Things are going very well indeed!  Rehearsals for Cinderella are such fun, I'm happy to report... every day is filled with laughter.  I mean, everyone is incredibly productive, and having a great time in the process.  The focus of the actors and creative team is admirable.  It's a wonderful company to be a part of.

I'm excited about the show tonight, too!  A lot of family and friends will be there.  It'll be my first time at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, so I have no idea what to expect.  Well, I guess whatever questions I have will be answered when I get there.  I hear the acoustics are incredible.

That's all for now... I seem to have trained my writing energy on my weekly column, trying to constantly find inspiration, above and beyond the suggestions that have come my way (thank you!).  I have a few ideas... but I'm letting them grow a little bit before I deem them fit for public consumption.

Good morning, good afternoon, and good night... wherever you are!

It's 1:18 am here in orange county..can't believe folks are already logged in from watching you athe Walt Disney Concert Hall! Another flawless show..even after I've seen you in concert for the 5th time, I'm still star struck and the biggest fan of all(don't let anyone tell you different hehe). Your yellow gown was sooo beautiful!! Your voice is as enchanting as ever! Nicole is soo cool to recognize you in the movies as Mommy instead of the princesses. The show was nice and long, you must be exhausted..4 encores! wow. I was so thrilled to see you in concert again..last time I saw you was about a year ago in Newyork for Les Miz. I am so glad I made it to tonight's show! goodnight!

The concert was last night... went really, really well!

Brad Patterson said...

The sold-out show last night was simply incredible. Lea was in top form, the repertoire was perfect (basically everything you would want Lea to sing given a wish list to submit), the band was great, the venue was magnificent, and the fans were obviously extremely appreciative. Thanks for a great, great show, Lea.

arkitekfhc . said...

It was sold out and the audience was so energetic!! Galing din pag symphonic. Korek dyan si Ger. Galing ng repertoire. Salamat, Lea. Hanggang sa susunod na concert. Salamat din sa news ng bago mong pelikula, ha? Aga uli...naks naman. Di ka pa pagod afterwards? I'm surprised you had the energy at Edison. Finally met my bodyguard counterpart...so friendly talaga your cuz, Lou.

Jason . said...

Lea.....uhhmmm-mazing!!! I knew the place was going to be packed and was not expecting them to sell the area behind the stage. Not only did they sell it.....but man....it was PACKED!!! What an honor to watch you up close at the WDCH. You looked stunning....totally in your prime! I can see future invites back to this prestigious hall....it was my first time to watch there and was just in awe. I kept wanting to scream for you to sing something from Wicked hehehe but "Someone's Waiting For You" was a nice surprise back in the days. I think I was sitting by someone in your family (we were in the 2nd row). They cheered and clapped when you mentioned your family. Congrats and enjoy the glass slippers over the next few months!!!

congrats on your highly successful concert. we were the intoxicated ones in row 2 center. lol.

i disagree with one of the posters here. whether it's symphonic or karaoke or kahit ano. Lea's voice will still sound great. so, for me kahit ano basta si manang kumanta lahat yan magaling unless nag mamagaling la-ang ang nagsabi na mas ok ang isang concert kontra sa isa. :)

teka, malabo ba? nyahahaha, i'm still having a huge hungover from last night's after party in the good ol' edison. hik.

I am sorry miss Lea, I have to post this here coz I can't find your contact or email,

Heh, TIGILAN NYO NA NGA ANG MGA KALOKOHAN NA YAN!!!!

In the first place sino ka ba na magbibigay ng mga award- award. Huwag mo na kaming idamay sa raket mo ha mokong? Uhaw ka lang sa attention. Hindi kailangan ni Lea nga mga kagaguhan na yan.

Kenji Jb Solis said...

gintoxic, yea u're probably right, lea doesn't need this award, but i honestly disagree with you that it's stupidity to do this as we honor the expats and OFW's around the world. we are nobody really to give this 'award - award' as no monetary prize included to this except recognition. But before you judge that we demand attention, please do visit some of the nominees site and see what they got, and why they do display the banners of the project. See Jim Paredes site for example over pansitan. It's sad and pathetic for a Pinoy to say something like that to a noble and honest cause.

BWAHAHA You honor the expats? These people doesn't need your phony recognition nor award- award, the people who visits this blog can attest to that.

What noble & honest cause are you talking about? It will do more good to channel your energy elsewhere than this shameless attempt to gain attention by riding on somebody else's fame. You people are the ones hungry for recognition since you admit it yourself that you are a nobody, ergo wala kayong K mag award- award kasi sa likod nyan ay mga raket lang. Gaya- gaya puto- maya. lol
