Still Silent...

Yes, I'm still being silent over here, the only sound coming out of me is the occasional instruction to the yaya... the sporadic coughing... blowing my nose... or my tip-tapping on the computer keyboard.  I downloaded a cool game for my Mac called Ravenhearst... it's a mystery game, although it consists mostly of finding hard-to-find items in different rooms and solving puzzles.  It does keep me busy and my brain working.  I'm finding myself getting absorbed in the storyline, so it's kept me entertained for much of my afternoon.

I'm also excited about starting Jigoku Shoujo (Hell Girl) on Animax... I never got to see the series from the beginning, so when I learned it would come back on Animax, I set my DVR to record the episodes.  I was home tonight though, so I watched it.  Really well done.  Case Closed and Witch Hunter Robin are other favorites... the all-time classic favorite though is Voltes V.

The rest of my day was spend answering email and twiddling with Facebook.  Man, that place can get pretty chaotic!

That's about it... I'm still on antibiotics and other supporting medication.  I'm feeling better, but my body's telling me that its recovery isn't yet complete.

Okay... time now to hit the showers and play with the Gamecube...

I never imagined you to be such a game and anime geek. I keep telling my wifey--who's a big fan of yours by the way--that you're into Bioshock and Hell Girl. She doesn't believe me at all.

I keep telling her, it's because we're cool like dat.

Hehe keep resting. I started coming down with something as well. What is it about going back to work that's so... allergic? Hehehe.

Yeah! Voltes V! We belonged to a generation that was denied the full enjoyment of that show. And we waited about 20 years for its return and finally watch its ending. Try to imagine past 30 years old guys literally dancing in enjoyment when we found out the return of Voltes V. It was really great finally having that closure.

"Steve! Mark! Big Bert! Little John! Jamie!!!" I could still clearly hear those classic words.... (sorry for those who cannot connect, ha ha)

Ooh! Jigoku Shoujo rules! The series gives me the creeps! I once hunted for the DVD of Seasons 1 and 2 and found them available in Megamall.

Oh my God! It really is Lea Salonga's blog! Wow.

Anyway, I hope you do get better soon. I had a pretty bad year of health last year, so I know it's no joy to be sick. My work, too, relies heavily on my voice so losing it is no joy to me either. But when I do lose it, I see it as an opportunity - God's way of telling me to shut up and listen to the world, smell the flowers and watch the clouds float by.

That doesn't help with the frustration of being silenced though so I channel it to other things - my now dead 360, my still working x-box, catching up on books never read and my sketching.

Anyway, my wife is a huge fan of yours and regularly visits this site, she loves your picture on Smart Parenting and we're both looking forward to watching you later this year in Cinderella.

More power to you Ms. Lea!:)

Wow, Ravenhearst! Last year, I got everyone in the office addicted to the point that every lunch hour, all the computer screens were filled with the cluttered rooms.
