Musicals.Net and other musical theatre forums

I just recently joined musicals.net... I often lurk onto different musical theatre message boards to see what people are saying... no, it isn't always nice (some people can be VICIOUS!!!), but on the whole the atmosphere is friendly.

Just thought to post a shout out to the folks over there...

Hi Lea,

Thanks for the heads up about Musicals.net. I am trying to visualize you "Lurking" and I laugh every time I think about it. I guess you are on hands and knees hiding under your desk while reading the Blog, or maybe you just have a mask on so nobody will know its you? Of course, the actual effectiveness of the "Lurk" is diminished when you come out and tell everyone who you are. In this case it did not matter because those on Musicals.net did not believe it was you anyway. I must say you called their bluff when you made the post to your site. I think that may have been the highlight of the evening for them.

Stay cool,

Jim

PS ...Thanks for reminding me how great a word "Lurk" is. I am always fascinated with words that I have not heard for a while and "Lurk" is certainly one of them. I KNOW that one is going to be popping up in my conversations very soon. If I ever see that word on a Blog I will just assume its you posting. Hey...that could be an new online ID for you...like "Fantine-lurking" OK, maybe not.

This is so sweet of you to shout out to us! We're SO enjoying having you over there. :) You're incredible! (And our amazing Les Mis insider! Thanks for that!) There's nobody I'd rather have lurking around our board than you! :)

Hello, Lea.
Amazing that you can still find time to write blogs despite what obviously is a crazy schedule for you. But I guess blogging does keep our sanities intact sometimes.
I would love to see you playing Fantine on Les Miz. I've seen Ms Ampil play the role here in London (well, for 6 times, as I had to take friends and families visiting London to see it) and loved every single moment of it.
Nothing to sublime to say really but just to let you know that I am absolutely impressed by your talents and that the only time that I get to see entries on youtube is when i want to hear you perform. I love the recording session you had for Aladdin with Keane. Your stint in Doha blew me away as well!
Keep it up!

Since you and Michelle Kwan are Disney Princesses, any plan for both of you in a big Disney show ?

And the worst part, they can even be so vicious for the smallest reasons, like typographical errors or grammar. They make fun of you. But I met quite a few people who are really kind.

Hi Lea, am shocked and pleasantly surprised to see you have a site here! I love the theater and i have watched you in several plays here in Manila and have seen you in Les Miz in New York. I also love your alladin stint and love the soundtrack of the King and I with Julie Andrews. I'm a fan and glad to have found this site! I would be proud and honored if you visited my site if you have the time! It's mostly a travel blog but i put other stuff as well. Keep up the good work!
