i saw this too. but i can't find the surveillance video. so i can also look out for the girl who abducted the kid.
is this the one on the news na nakita daw na namamalimos? somewhere near the mall?
he was found begging in laguna if im not mistaken. it was on the news a while ago. bad bad person who kidnapped the kid. this might be a syndicate who forces kids to beg for money.. poor little kids.. :( but good thing the 3-year old was already found, he's sick eh..

I watched news from my state last night, and they talked about the one-year anniversary of one of the most horrific and heart-rending crimes ever that occurred in a town (Cheshire) about an hour from where I live. Two ex-cons spotted a mother and young, teenage daughter out in public and decided they wanted them. So, they followed the unsuspecting females to their home, then made their plans & preparations for a "home invasion". Returning during the following early morning, I think, they broke into the basement of this family's home. The father confronted them, but he was beaten and left for dead. The nightmare unfolded with the mother raped and strangled to death, the two teenage daughters tied to their beds with the youngest (something like 13) raped, and both dead from smoke inhalation after the invaders set fire to the home. The father actually survived...but to the reality of the unimaginable loss of his whole family. The perpetrators were captured shortly afterwards.
Then I read this abduction story and was deeply saddened and depressed...what is happening in this world? How can people become so evil? But now I find out that at least this abduction story had a happy ending!! :-)
i'll include this to my prayers....

Oh, we had a similar story years ago, I don't remember what year. The father was away but I'm not sure if he would have been able to save his family even if he was there. It was a very "celebrated" case...And a very sad and scary one at that.
I think they have recovered Matthew. What I heard, they found him in Sta. Rosa Laguna.Praise be to God!
They found the kid begging on the streets with the girl who kidnapped him.
Shame on them!
